In a heartening turn of events, a five-year-old child abducted by dacoits in the Kuccha area of Sindh was successfully recovered on Saturday.
Jan Achakzai took to Twitter to share the news of the child’s recovery, accompanied by photographs. According to Achakzai, the kidnappers had seized the young Aiaz Pathan while he was playing outside his home in Kandhkot on April 14th.
Prompt action followed as Provincial Advisor Ali Hassan Zehri, acting on orders from President Asif Ali Zardari, reached out to the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Larkana. The Advisor instructed the DIG to take all necessary measures for the safe return of the abducted Pashtun child.
Responding swiftly, the DIG of Larkana successfully rescued the kidnapped child. The severity of the situation became apparent when a viral video surfaced, showing the innocent child bound with chains and crying for help—a harrowing ordeal orchestrated by the criminals.
Demanding a ransom of 5 million rupees for the child’s release, the kidnappers resorted to abhorrent tactics. However, thanks to the coordinated efforts and decisive action, the child was brought back unharmed, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the darkness of criminality.
This successful recovery highlights the importance of swift and decisive action by law enforcement authorities in combating such heinous crimes and ensuring the safety of innocent civilians, particularly vulnerable children.
