FIA Cyber Crime Unit Takes Action Over Viral Explicit Videos of Minor

Explicit Videos of Minor

The Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) Cyber Crime Circle has achieved a significant milestone in combating child exploitation, arresting two individuals implicated in the dissemination of explicit videos involving a minor girl on social media. A thorough investigation led to the recovery of objectionable material from the suspects’ mobile phones.

According to an FIA spokesperson, the perpetrators, Latif Ali and Junaid Sarfaraz, employed fake Instagram accounts to distribute the illicit content and subjected the victim to sexual harassment and blackmail. The suspects were apprehended in Tehsil Yasin, District Ghizer.

Details of the case reveal that the accused created fake social media accounts under the victim’s name, threatening to release compromising images unless their demands were met.

Further investigation uncovered that the suspects shared the objectionable material with accomplices via WhatsApp.

Key findings:

  • Fake Instagram accounts used for exploitation
  • Sexual harassment and blackmail of the minor victim
  • Objectionable material recovered from suspects’ devices
  • Accomplices involved in sharing explicit content via WhatsApp
  • Suspects arrested in District Ghizer

The FIA’s swift action demonstrates its commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals, particularly children, from online exploitation.

Concerns raised:

  • Proliferation of child exploitation on social media
  • Ease of creating fake accounts for malicious purposes
  • Vulnerability of minors to online harassment

The agency’s efforts will continue to focus on:

  • Identifying and prosecuting perpetrators
  • Collaborating with social media platforms to prevent exploitation
  • Raising awareness about online safety and reporting mechanisms
  • Supporting victims and their families

The community welcomes this breakthrough, emphasizing the need for:

  • Stringent laws against child exploitation
  • Enhanced online security measures
  • Increased public awareness

As the investigation unfolds, authorities will work tirelessly to ensure justice is served and protect potential victims from similar crimes.
