ATTOCK: In a deeply tragic incident that has shocked the legal community, two lawyers, identified as Malik Israr Ahmed and Zulfiqar, were fatally shot by Elite Force personnel.
According to the police, the accused, Intizar Shah, a member of the Elite Force, entered the lawyers’ chamber in Attock and opened fire without warning. The motive behind this sudden and violent act remains unclear, adding to the gravity of the situation.
Malik Israr Ahmed, a respected advocate of the High Court and a former President of the Punjab Bar Council, was targeted while within the courthouse premises. His contribution to the legal field and his esteemed position in the legal fraternity have made this loss particularly poignant. Zulfiqar, whose full identity and background are yet to be detailed, also lost his life in this senseless attack.
