The deceased victims were all from the same family and hailed from Sialkot. Authorities transported the injured passengers to Chalas for urgent medical care. The bodies of the deceased were taken to Naran Hospital for necessary formalities and procedures.
Authorities have already informed the relatives of the victims about this heart-wrenching tragedy.

Pakistan’s road safety record is dire, with factors like poorly maintained highways, lax safety measures, and reckless driving contributing to such accidents. Passenger buses often overload and either do not use or lack available seatbelts. Such irresponsible actions lead to high death tolls in single-vehicle accidents.
According to World Health Organisation estimates, in 2018, over 27,000 people lost their lives in road accidents in Pakistan. The country faces significant challenges in improving road safety and preventing such tragic incidents.
