Death Hits Sensitive Minds: Celebrities mourn on Ghotki train incident, send out prayers for victims’ families

Deadly train crash claims over 50 lives in Sindh’s Ghotki.

On Monday, in an unfortunate and tragic incident, at least 51 people have been killed and more than 100 were injured, after two express trains collided in Sindh’s Ghotki district.

As the devastating incident left the country in shock, many celebrities expressed their grief and shock on the incident over social media.

Taking to their official social networking handles, many penned down their heartiest prayers for the victims and their families.

Turkish actress Gulsim Ali, who essays the role of Aslihan Hatun in historical drama serial Dirilis: Ertugrul, has expressed her deep grief and sorrow over the loss of lives in the Ghotki train crash.

Taking to her Instagram Story, Gulsim shared the image from the incident and wrote “I’m deeply saddened to hear that a passenger train accident at Ghotki, Pakistan.”

“May Allah have mercy upon those who lost their lives in this tragic accident?”

The actress continued, “I extend to brotherly people of Pakistan my heartfelt condolences” followed by Pakistan and Turkish flags.

Taking to Twitter, Mahira prayed for the victims of the incident and expressed her condolences to those affected by it.

The Parey Hut Love actress tweeted, “Awful awful news about the train accident at Ghotki.”

“Prayers and condolences for those affected by it,” she said with folded hands.

Mahira continued “I hope, pray and plead for an investigation into this incident. And the right decisions to be taken accordingly.”

Taking to their official social networking handles, many penned down their heartiest prayers for the victims and their families.

Devastating news of the train crash. Many innocent lives lost & injured. Praying Allah gives strength 2 families dealing with this calamity. Responsible parties are taken to task in a manner where others not doing their jobs learn a lesson. Said Fayal Qureshi.

While praying for peace for the departed souls, many celebs also requested the government to lead proper investigations in regards to the horrible incident.
