Dacoit Severely Injures Elderly Woman by Cutting Off Her Ears in Gwadar

In a disturbing incident reported from the Surbandar area of Gwadar, Balochistan, an elderly woman suffered severe injuries after a dacoit violently cut off her ears to steal her gold earrings. According to reports, the robber targeted the woman, who was wearing gold jewelry at the time of the attack. After severing her ears, the dacoit fled the scene with the stolen earrings.

The police, however, acted swiftly, arresting the suspect and recovering the severed ears, the gold earrings, and the knife used in the brutal crime. The elderly woman is currently in a critical condition and is receiving urgent medical treatment at a hospital. The apprehended robber has since confessed to the crime, according to the police.

In a separate, equally horrifying incident in Faisalabad, Punjab, a married woman was allegedly raped during a daylight robbery. The incident occurred in a suburban area of Faisalabad when the woman and her husband were on their way to purchase goods. Two robbers on a motorcycle intercepted them, snatching 2,500 rupees and a mobile phone from the husband. While one of the robbers restrained the husband, the other took the woman to a nearby field and allegedly raped her. The incident has sparked outrage in the community. The police have registered a case at the Sandal Bar police station based on the husband’s complaint and have launched a manhunt to capture the perpetrators. The authorities have assured that the culprits will be brought to justice, but the incidents have raised serious concerns about the safety and security of citizens, particularly in the affected regions.

These incidents highlight the increasing lawlessness and the urgent need for stronger measures to protect vulnerable populations in Pakistan.
