Medical Examination
Shah Mahmood Qureshi, while incarcerated at Adiala Jail, was granted permission by Judge Abu Alhasnaat Zulqurnain to be transferred to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences on Thursday due to his illness.
The formal request for this transfer was filed by Adiala Jail officials, as Qureshi was reportedly suffering from gallbladder pain. The court was informed by jail authorities that necessary medical tests needed to be conducted, necessitating the hospital transfer.

Qureshi is currently facing charges in the cipher case registered under the Official Secrets Act while in Adiala Jail. The charges allege that he assisted Imran Khan in the illegal communication and retention of a classified cable during his tenure as foreign minister.
In a related development, Imran Khan also underwent a medical examination in jail on Wednesday, as he complained of stomach discomfort. These health concerns have brought attention to the medical conditions of individuals involved in high-profile cases within the judicial system.
