The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Umar Ata Bandial, has said that judicial education is a key part of training judges and has become a specialized field around the world to help judges do their jobs well and quickly.
The chief justice praised the work of the Federal Judicial Academy and the journal’s editorial board at the event that marked the publication of the academy’s first research journal.
Chief Justice Bandial said that this project would help everyone in the justice system because it would give them a place to share their knowledge.
Chief Justice Bandial said at the event, “There is a need to improve the quality of legal education, foster a culture of research within the judiciary, and encourage critical thinking and the expression of opinions about different legal issues that coexist.”
The director of research and publication for the Federal Law Journal spoke at the event. He gave an overview of the publication and told people what was in the first issue.
The general director of the academy, Hayat Ali Shah, talked about the curriculum in his opening remarks. At the end of the event, the chief justice gave certificates to those who wanted to become district and session judges and law clerks.
