Secret Phone Call of TTP Chief Leaked

Secret Phone Call

A leaked phone call between Noor Wali, the leader of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), and an associate has unveiled a disturbing plot to orchestrate terrorist attacks on various civilian and security targets.

The conversation reveals Wali’s explicit instructions to target government schools, hospitals, and the residences of police and military personnel.

In the leaked audio, Noor Wali directs his associate to use explosives against schools and hospitals, aiming to instigate widespread fear and disorder.

He emphasizes the importance of not claiming responsibility for these attacks, likely to evade direct accountability.

Wali also specifies that the homes of police and military members on duty should be targeted to maximize disruption and terror.

The recording details a strategy focused on causing chaos and panic among the general populace.

This revelation comes in the wake of earlier statements from the Pakistan Foreign Office (FO). On July 11, the FO firmly stated that the government has no intentions of negotiating with the banned TTP.

During a weekly briefing in Islamabad, Foreign Office Spokesperson Mumtaz Zahra Baloch condemned the TTP for its involvement in the deaths of both Pakistani and foreign citizens within the country.

She reiterated that Pakistan upholds Afghanistan’s sovereignty and expects the Afghan authorities to act against terrorist groups that have found refuge within their borders and are using Afghan territory to launch attacks against Pakistan.

The leaked call and the subsequent government statements underscore the ongoing tension and security challenges facing Pakistan as it grapples with the threat posed by extremist groups.

The incident highlights the critical need for continued vigilance and robust counterterrorism measures to address and mitigate the risks posed by such groups.
