ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) police informed the court that the total number of cases registered against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder in the federal capital has now reached 76.
The report noted that 14 new cases were filed following the D-Chowk protest, adding to the 62 cases already registered against him.
The Islamabad High Court has dismissed a petition filed by the PTI founder’s sister, Noreen Niazi, which sought a comprehensive list of cases registered against him.
During the proceedings, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) submitted their respective case details. Additionally, the Interior Secretary provided reports on cases from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sindh, and Balochistan.
With all relevant details submitted, the court concluded the hearing and rejected Noreen Niazi’s petition.
