The Balochistan police have suspended multiple officials after a video went viral on social media, where these officials were seen expressing sympathy with Afghan refugees facing deportation from Pakistan.

Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed this development, stating that the officials involved in making the TikTok video have been suspended and subsequently dismissed, with further action to be taken against them.
In the video, one of the officials criticized the government for deporting allegedly illegal Afghan refugees and requested fellow security officials not to mistreat them. He mentioned the occupation of Afghan properties and the destruction of their houses.
Another video, uploaded to his TikTok account after his suspension from duty, showed the same official boasting over 50,000 followers. In the video, he expressed no concern about losing his job, claiming to be from the family of Aimal Kansi and stating that he had sacrificed his duty for the Afghans.
In response to the viral video, Balochistan Police Inspector General Abdul Khaliq Sheikh ordered the suspension of the involved personnel and stated that they were trying to identify other personnel in Anti-Terrorism Force uniforms seen in the video, with action to be taken against them as well. The IGP emphasized the importance of patriotism and the rule of law for every police officer in Balochistan.
Furthermore, a report from the Quetta Anti-Terrorism Force highlighted that some officers performing escort duties for former federal minister Ayaz Sadiq, including Dilawar, Kabir Ahmed, Raaz Mohammad, and Naveed Ahmed, were seen in another video expressing sympathy for Afghan refugees and using derogatory language towards the police department. The report deemed their behavior as gross negligence, irresponsibility, and a violation of police rules, leading to the appointment of Noor Ahmad Lehri as the inquiry officer to conduct a departmental probe and submit a report promptly.
Caretaker Interior Minister Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed the incident and emphasized that the officials involved were not Afghans, underlining that there would be no compromise on the security and honor of the country, even if Pakistani officials were involved.
