Awn Chaudry Calls for PTI Apology Over Alleged May 9 Conspiracy

Awn Chaudry, the leader of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) and a Member of the National Assembly, made a significant statement on Tuesday. During a press conference in Islamabad, he expressed a willingness to collaborate with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), provided they apologize for what he termed the “May 9 tragedy.”

Chaudry accused PTI of conspiring against Pakistan, alleging that they misused a PR firm to harm the country’s interests. He specifically pointed out Zulfi Bukhari, claiming that Bukhari wrote a letter against Pakistan to the UN Working Group, an activity that has allegedly been ongoing since 2016.

Chaudry stressed that the same lobbying firm involved in the cipher controversy has been employed by these individuals. In his address, he strongly condemned what he called a malicious campaign against Pakistan and its armed forces, questioning the financial sources behind these activities and claiming to know the entire money trail.

According to Chaudry, the goal of these actions is to create the chaos and instability within the country, posing a severe threat even beyond its borders. He urged those involved to return to Pakistan and engage in dialogue to address these issues, highlighting the urgency of protecting national interests and unity.
