Apostille Attestation Service Now Available in Gujrat and Quetta via Courier

Apostille Attestation Service

After successfully launching apostille attestation services through courier companies in major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Peshawar, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is now extending this service to Gujrat and Quetta.

Starting on Monday, residents of these cities will be able to take advantage of this convenient service, which streamlines the process of attesting documents for use abroad.

According to a statement released by the Foreign Office spokesperson on Sunday, this expansion is part of a broader initiative aimed at making apostille attestation more accessible to people across Pakistan.

The ministry has partnered with several well-known courier companies to facilitate the collection and processing of documents for attestation.

In Gujrat, applicants can submit their documents to designated courier companies, including TCS, M&P, Leopard, and ECS. Similarly, in Quetta, the authorized courier companies for this service are TCS, Gerry’s, M&P, Leopard, and ECS.

These companies have been entrusted with the responsibility of collecting documents from individuals seeking apostille attestation.

Once collected, the documents are forwarded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where they are officially attested before being returned to the applicants.

The introduction of this service in Gujrat and Quetta is expected to greatly benefit residents by reducing the need to travel to major cities for document attestation.

Instead of making potentially long and costly trips, individuals can now simply visit a nearby courier office to submit their documents.

This not only saves time and effort but also makes the entire process more efficient and user-friendly.

It’s important to note that while these courier companies are authorized to collect a wide range of documents for apostille attestation, there is an exception.

The service does not currently cover the attestation of Power of Attorney documents.

Applicants with such documents will need to follow the traditional process, which may require direct submission to the relevant authorities.

The expansion of apostille attestation services to Gujrat and Quetta marks a significant step in the Foreign Ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve public access to essential services.

By partnering with trusted courier companies, the ministry is ensuring that more people can benefit from streamlined and accessible attestation services, regardless of their location within the country.

This initiative is part of a broader strategy to modernize and decentralize key government services, making them more accessible to citizens across Pakistan.

As the demand for document attestation services continues to grow, especially with increasing numbers of Pakistanis seeking employment, education, or residency abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is committed to meeting this need through innovative and convenient solutions.

Overall, the introduction of apostille attestation services in Gujrat and Quetta is a welcome development that will significantly ease the burden on residents of these cities, allowing them to efficiently manage their document attestation needs without the hassle of traveling long distances.

This initiative is expected to pave the way for further expansions, bringing essential government services closer to the people.
