The second Airbus-320 to join PIA’s fleet this year has landed in Pakistan after making the trip from Sharjah. According to PIA spokesman Abdullah Hafeez Khan, “this aircraft will be used within the country, on regional and Gulf flights.”
According to him, the PIA could acquire possession of the plane when the six-year lease was over as long as all parties involved came to an agreement.
In April of this year, we received the first of this year’s A-320s, and it is already hard at work providing essential services.
According to the PIA official, two of the planes have already arrived in Pakistan, and two more are scheduled to arrive in the country over the next few days after the airline issued a tender last year to purchase the planes.
He said that with the addition of these A-320s, PIA would have a total of 14, all of which would be outfitted with modern seating and luxurious cabins.
