Ali Amin Gandapur, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) nominee for Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, has outlined his vision to lead the province towards development. Speaking at a PTI protest against alleged election rigging, Gandapur expressed confidence in bringing justice to the province if elected as the Chief Minister.
Addressing the issue of alleged rigging, Gandapur highlighted the significance of Form 45 and argued that independent candidates supported by PTI secured the majority of seats nationwide. He urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to review the results and declare PTI candidates as winners in constituencies where they purportedly faced electoral irregularities.

Gandapur emphasized the importance of transparency in the electoral process and called for the ECP to take decisive action in response to allegations of rigging. He stressed that such measures were crucial to upholding democratic principles and ensuring the integrity of the electoral system.
Referring to the recent confession of election rigging by Rawalpindi Commissioner Liaquat Chatta, Gandapur underscored the significance of this revelation, asserting that it reflected a growing awareness among the public. He urged the ECP to thoroughly investigate such instances and take appropriate measures to address the challenges posed by electoral malpractices.
In addition to addressing the aftermath of the alleged rigging, Gandapur shared his commitment to steering the province towards development. His vision aligns with PTI’s broader goals of promoting good governance, economic prosperity, and social welfare.
Gandapur’s nomination as the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was announced by the PTI founder on February 13 during an informal media talk. Gandapur’s political journey began with his election to the Provincial Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in 2013 as a member of the PTI. As the political landscape evolves, Gandapur’s role as a nominee signifies the party’s efforts to address governance issues and pursue a developmental agenda in the region.
