MUZAFFARGARH: On Monday, an acid attack in Mauza Binda Ishaq, located in the Rohillanwali police precincts approximately 30 kilometers from the city area, resulted in severe burns to three women from the same family.

The attack occurred at the home of Kalsoom Bibi, wife of Shafi, while she was asleep with her children.

According to reports, the assailants, identified as Imran and Irfan, sons of Bashir Ahmad, allegedly targeted Kalsoom Bibi’s residence in the early hours of the morning.

The suspects forcefully entered the house and threw acid on the sleeping occupants, causing severe injuries.

The acid attack inflicted serious burns on Kalsoom Bibi, who is 50 years old, her 20-year-old daughter Sawera Bibi, and her six-year-old niece, Sania Bibi.

The intensity of the attack resulted in the women sustaining critical injuries. Immediately following the incident, they were rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.

The Rohillanwali police have initiated an investigation into the incident and have registered a case against the accused, Imran and Irfan. The police are actively working to apprehend the suspects and bring them to justice.

This violent act of aggression has shocked the local community, raising concerns about safety and the prevalence of such attacks.

The acid attack not only inflicted physical harm but has also left the victims and their family grappling with emotional trauma.

The incident highlights the urgent need for enhanced protection measures and stricter enforcement of laws against such heinous crimes.

As the investigation progresses, the community and authorities are calling for swift action to ensure that those responsible are held accountable and that measures are put in place to prevent future occurrences of similar violence.
