Harassment Case
Azam, the principal of a private school located in Karachi’s Saudabad area, who had been arrested by the police on Monday on charges of allegedly harassing female students, was granted bail by a local court.
The school principal, facing allegations of harassment, appeared before the court of the Judicial Magistrate East in Karachi.

The judicial magistrate in Karachi East decided to grant bail to Azam, and this decision was contingent upon him providing a surety bond of Rs30,000.
It’s important to note that the arrest had occurred following a complaint from a girl on Monday, in which she accused the principal of harassment at the school.
This incident follows a similar one from the previous month, where Karachi police had arrested the principal of another private school in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting teachers and other staff members.
These cases underscore the importance of addressing harassment issues within educational institutions.
CJP Isa Interpolates Justices Ahsan and Akhtar in Legal Matter
During the hearing of the Practice and Procedure Act case, Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa intervened, instructing Justice Ejazul Ahsan and Justice Muneeb Akhtar to cease their repeated questioning.
Tensions rose when Justice Muneeb attempted to pose a question to lawyer Faisal Siddiqui, but the chief justice interrupted.
The chief justice stated that the counsel had the right to argue as they wished, expressing his desire to hear the lawyer’s arguments. However, he added that the judges’ opinions can reflected in the judgment if already formed.
