LAHORE / ISLAMABAD: On Saturday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore declared ‘absconders’ several Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders in a case related to the attack on Jinnah House, also known as Corps Commander House in Lahore.
In the Jinnah House attack case registered at Sarwar Road Police Station, ATC Judge Abhar Gul has officially labeled PTI leaders as ‘absconders.’

The PTI leaders declared as ‘absconders’ include Mian Aslam Iqbal, Hammad Azhar, Farrukh Habib, Murad Saeed, Azam Swati, Ali Amin Gandapur, Zubair Khan Niazi, Andleeb Abbas, and others.
Furthermore, the anti-terrorism court has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for the accused.

Violent clashes erupted across Pakistan following the arrest of former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan at the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday.
The protests occurred in both remote and major cities, with party workers expressing their agitation over their chairman’s arrest.
Balochistan, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Islamabad sought the assistance of the armed forces to maintain law and order in the midst of the turmoil.
During a protest by PTI workers, Army installations and the Corps Commander’s house in Lahore were targeted.
It’s important to note that the authorities apprehended the PTI Chairman Khan from his Lahore residence on August 5. This arrest followed his sentencing to a five-year disqualification and a three-year prison term in the Toshakhana criminal case.
