Lahore police rescued a kidnapped man and arrested several suspects within hours of receiving the complaint. The Manawan Police Station led the operation.
The victim, Taimur, recently moved to Lahore from Faisalabad. Unknown assailants abducted him from a private residential society within Manawan police limits.
The kidnappers demanded Rs. 1.5 million for his safe release. Taimurโs wife immediately approached the Manawan Police Station after the abduction.
Police registered a kidnapping-for-ransom case and launched an investigation. Officers quickly began efforts to locate Taimur and identify those involved.
Police Trace Kidnappers Through Investigation
SHO Zulqarnain led the Manawan police team during the investigation. Officers analyzed available evidence and used investigative techniques to trace the suspects.
Police conducted multiple raids at suspected hideouts while narrowing their search. Eventually, investigators identified the location where the kidnappers held Taimur.
The police team then raided the hideout and rescued the victim safely. Officers also arrested the alleged kidnappers during the operation.
The rescue brought relief to Taimurโs family and the surrounding community. Police said the operation concluded without any reported incident during the arrests.
Investigation Continues After Rescue
Police have placed the arrested suspects in custody for further interrogation. Investigators are examining their motives and identifying possible accomplices.
Authorities are also investigating the methods used to carry out the kidnapping. Moreover, investigators have not ruled out links to a wider criminal network.
Meanwhile, Taimurโs family thanked the Manawan police team for its swift response. SHO Zulqarnain and his team later shared a photograph from the operation.
The police officer reaffirmed the departmentโs commitment to public safety and justice. Authorities said the investigation would continue until they uncover the full network.
