ISLAMABAD: Pakistani actress Kubra Khan shared an emotional farewell message following the conclusion of the television drama *Doctor Bahu*. She expressed gratitude to the cast and crew and the fans of the drama in the country and abroad.
The actress posted a behind-the-scenes reel on Instagram on Wednesday and reflected on her nine-month journey while filming the series. She said she deliberately avoided using the drama’s original soundtrack because viewers had already heard it many times.
Instead, Khan quoted lyrics from Elton John’s song *Your Song* to describe her feelings about the project. She said the drama carried deep emotions that extended beyond the script to everyone involved on set.
Moreover, Khan praised the positive atmosphere during production. She said a supportive environment and mutual respect among team members made the work easier and more enjoyable.
The actress recalled that the cast often laughed together, even while filming emotional scenes. She added that the months passed quickly because everyone shared memorable experiences throughout the production.
Furthermore, Khan compared the team’s bond to friendships formed during school or college. She said the group always stood by one another regardless of the challenges they faced on set.
She also thanked director Mehreen Jabbar, writer Sanam Mehdi Zaryab and cinematographer Tayyab Shah for their contributions to the drama.
Khan thanked the entire cast and crew and said, “Doctor Bahu drama set a high standard for her future projects. She said that it would always remain a cherished experience.”
