A 17-year-old boy was killed and another injured after a speeding dumper ran over them near Korangi No. 3 in Karachi.
According to initial reports, the heavy vehicle struck the teenagers, killing one at the scene and seriously injuring the other.

Crowd Attempts to Set Dumper on Fire
The situation became tense when some protesters allegedly attempted to set the dumper on fire.

Korangi police later safely removed the dumper driver from the angry crowd.
Officials took the driver to the police station for questioning as authorities began investigating the accident.
Police said some members of the crowd had attempted to attack the driver.
They also allegedly wanted to set the driver on fire along with the vehicle.
Second Dumper Driver Detained
Police also took the driver of another dumper into custody following the incident.
Meanwhile, reports said more than 2,000 people gathered outside the victim’s residence, reflecting the anger surrounding the fatal accident.
Additional police personnel were deployed to the area to maintain order and prevent further clashes.
Authorities confirmed that the accident left one teenager dead and another injured.
