The University of Karachi has opened postgraduate admissions for the 2026 academic session. The university announced admissions for various MPhil and PhD programs. Moreover, officials released the complete admission schedule for prospective applicants.

Admission Schedule and Application Process
Applicants can download the admission prospectus from June 29 until July 8. The entrance test form and fee voucher remain available during this period. Candidates must download all required documents through the university’s official website. Therefore, applicants should complete the process before the deadline.
The university will publish the list of eligible candidates on July 20. Afterwards, departments will issue admit cards between July 23 and July 24. Applicants must collect their admit cards from their respective departments, centers, or institutes. Consequently, candidates should follow the announced schedule carefully.
Entrance Test and Result Timeline
The Karachi University Entrance Test 2026 will take place on July 26. The examination will begin at 10:00 a.m. University officials will announce the entrance test results on August 2. Furthermore, successful candidates can proceed with the remaining admission formalities.
