Eight domestic and international flights departing from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport were cancelled on Tuesday due to technical reasons.
The cancellations affected several major routes from Karachi to destinations across Pakistan and abroad. Passengers travelling on the affected flights faced disruptions to their travel plans.
International Flight Cancellation
Ethiopian Airlines flight ET-695 from Karachi to Addis Ababa was cancelled according to the airport’s flight schedule.
Airblue flight PA-110 from Karachi to Dubai was also suspended. Both cancellations affected passengers scheduled to travel on international routes from Karachi.
Multiple Domestic Flights Cancelled
Several domestic flights were also cancelled during the day.
SQB-976, operating from Karachi to Rahim Yar Khan, was called off. Fly Jinnah also cancelled multiple flights from Karachi.
The affected Fly Jinnah services included flight 9P-870 from Karachi to Multan and flight 9P-810 from Karachi to Faisalabad.
Flight 9P-851 from Karachi to Quetta was also cancelled. Another Fly Jinnah service, 9P-844 from Karachi to Lahore, was suspended.
AirSial flight PF-125 from Karachi to Islamabad was also cancelled.
Passengers Face Travel Disruptions
The cancellations covered several important domestic destinations, including Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, Multan, Quetta and Rahim Yar Khan.
