ISLAMABAD: Justice Mussarat Hilali’s health deteriorated today, prompting medical treatment and relief from court duties. Justice Hilali is a Judge of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Sudden Health Episode at the Supreme Court
According to court sources, Justice Mussarat’s blood pressure spiked shortly before her scheduled appearance in the courtroom. Medical staff conducted a checkup inside the judges’ room to assess her condition.
The attending doctor later advised her to take rest and avoid court proceedings until her health stabilises. Following the doctor’s recommendation, Justice Mussarat Hilali and Justice Ali Muhammad Mazhar were delisted from the day’s cause list.
Previous Health Concerns
It is important to note that Justice Mussarat Hilali suffered from a heart ailment in 2024, which required medical treatment at that time. Her current condition has raised fresh concerns, although officials have not reported any serious complications.
Court Operations Continue Normally
Despite the delisting, court proceedings continued without disruption. Sources confirmed that other scheduled cases were heard by available benches. The Supreme Court has not yet issued an official statement regarding Justice Mussarat’s health.
