Jungkook Responds During Weverse Live
BTS member Jungkook has asked fans to stop pressuring him and other BTS members to speak English during live broadcasts.
The singer made the remarks during a recent Weverse Live session. During the livestream, several viewers repeatedly asked him to speak in English.
Jungkook responded calmly and said he understood the comments. However, he made it clear that communication should not be limited to one language.
He told fans that he is learning English at his own pace. He also asked them not to rush him or put pressure on him during live sessions.
His response quickly gained attention online. Many fans praised him for speaking honestly and respectfully about the issue.
Singer Encourages Mutual Understanding
Jungkook also encouraged fans to think about communication from both sides. He suggested that fans could also try learning Korean if they wanted to understand BTS better.
His message was simple. Language should not become a source of pressure between artists and fans.
The BTS member said he is making efforts to study English. However, he reminded viewers that learning a language takes time.
Fans supported his statement on social media. Many said international fans should respect the membersโ comfort and avoid repeated demands during livestreams.
Several users also pointed out that BTS members already make efforts to connect with global fans in different ways. They said fans should appreciate that effort instead of expecting them to speak English all the time.
BTS Members Have Addressed Similar Requests Before
This is not the first time BTS members have spoken about repetitive fan comments during live broadcasts.
Suga has previously declined requests to speak English. J-Hope has also said that he is still learning the language.
Other members, including RM and V, have urged fans to be more considerate during livestreams. They have also asked viewers to avoid repeating the same comments again and again.
Later in the same livestream, Jungkook also addressed fans who were asking him to sleep. He said he naturally stays awake until around 2am and was not overworking himself.
His remarks highlighted a wider issue faced by global artists during live interactions. While fans want closer communication, artists also need space, respect and comfort.
Jungkookโs message has now sparked fresh discussion among BTS fans about boundaries, language expectations and respectful online behaviour.
