Angelina Jolie Expresses Concern Over Israeli Gaza Bombing
Meanwhile,
Angelina Jolie delivered a strong message on Instagram, vehemently condemning Israel and accusing the international community of complicity in “crimes” committed against Gaza’s civilian population.
The American actress expressed her outrage, denouncing the deliberate bombing of a trapped population with nowhere to escape. She highlighted Gaza’s nearly two-decade status as an open-air prison, rapidly transforming into a mass grave, with 40% of the casualties being innocent children.
Jolie decried the loss of entire families and the collective punishment and dehumanization of millions of Palestinian civilians, including children and women. She pointed out that these actions, in violation of international law, occur with the active support of multiple governments.
Furthermore, Jolie criticized world leaders for their failure to demand a humanitarian ceasefire and for blocking the UN Security Council from imposing one on both conflicting parties. In her view, these leaders are complicit in the ongoing crimes against Gaza’s people.
