KARACHI: The Judicial Commission investigating the death of Mir Raza Ali has released dedicated WhatsApp and email contact details, urging members of the public to provide information that could assist its inquiry.
According to the commission, citizens possessing relevant information can contact investigators through WhatsApp at 0321-3850899 or send details by email to commission_mrc@shc.gov.pk.
The commission encouraged witnesses and anyone with knowledge about circumstances surrounding the case to come forward and communicate directly with the inquiry panel.
Commission Offers Rs100,000 Reward for Significant Information
The commission, headed by Sindh High Court Justice Umar Sial, decided during proceedings on August 28 to publish newspaper advertisements seeking public assistance.
Moreover, the panel announced a reward of Rs100,000 for information considered significant to establishing facts surrounding Mir Raza’s death.
Justice Sial said the public appeal aimed to encourage anyone possessing potentially useful information to approach the commission.
Additionally, the commission ordered authorities to place notices at the location where Mir Raza’s body was discovered. Investigators hope the initiative could help locate eyewitnesses or other people who may have relevant information.
Inquiry Seeks Clues Following Discovery of Body
Mir Raza was reported missing on July 28. His body was subsequently recovered the following day from Gulistan-e-Johar in Karachi.
The Judicial Commission is examining the circumstances surrounding his disappearance and subsequent death.
Meanwhile, opening direct communication channels marks another step in efforts to broaden the inquiry and gather information beyond evidence already available to investigators.
