The Federal Public Service Commission has announced 23 Inspector vacancies for Islamabad Capital Territory Police.
The positions fall under BS-16 and were announced through Advertisement No. 03/2026. Eligible candidates from across Pakistan can apply under the federal quota system.
The FPSC has set August 31, 2026, as the deadline for online applications. Meanwhile, authorities have tentatively scheduled the written test for October 10, 2026.
Vacancy Distribution Across Provinces
The recruitment includes one merit seat and five seats for Islamabad Capital Territory. The ICT quota includes four open merit seats and one womenโs seat.
Punjab has nine vacancies, including eight open merit seats and one womenโs seat. Sindh Rural has two seats, while Sindh Urban has one vacancy.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has two seats, while Balochistan and Ex-FATA each have one. Azad Jammu and Kashmir also has one available position.
Eligibility and Application Process
Candidates must meet the prescribed eligibility, qualification, and physical requirements. Applicants must fall between 20 and 28 years of age.
However, the recruitment rules provide a five-year general relaxation in the upper age limit. Candidates should review the official notification for complete qualification and physical standards.
