Officials Review Facilities and Security Arrangements

The project is intended to strengthen detention facilities in the federal capital and improve the management of inmates. Furthermore, the facility’s infrastructure is expected to support more organised prison administration.
Officials will remain responsible for maintaining security, ensuring proper supervision and managing the transfer of prisoners. Meanwhile, the government has indicated that the jail is prepared to begin receiving inmates once the formal inauguration takes place.
