Islamabad Traffic Police has launched a unique campaign that rewards motorists who follow traffic rules with live flowering plants. The initiative seeks to promote road discipline through positive reinforcement instead of relying only on fines and penalties.
Inspector General of Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi directed the campaign, while Chief Traffic Officer Kainat Azhar Khan led the initiative across several intersections in the capital. Traffic officials distributed flowering plants to drivers who demonstrated responsible road behavior.
Traffic discipline earns drivers recognition
Under the campaign, motorists who maintain proper lane discipline, wear seatbelts and follow speed limits receive plants as a gesture of appreciation. Officials also recognize drivers who respect pedestrian crossings and demonstrate courteous behavior on the roads.
