The claim comes amid escalating tensions between Iran and the United States across the Middle East.
Iran claims attack on US forces in Jordan
Meanwhile, Iran’s Revolutionary Guards also claimed they targeted a facility housing US soldiers in Jordan’s Al-Rukban region.
Iranian news agency Fars, citing the IRGC, reported that several US personnel were killed in the alleged attack.
The Revolutionary Guards said its Aerospace Force fighters carried out the strike against the facility.
Additionally, the IRGC claimed that its forces destroyed a US missile defence radar system in Jordan.
It also said an F-15 fighter jet inside a hangar was destroyed during the operation.
However, the claims have not received independent confirmation from US or Jordanian officials.
The reported attacks come as Washington and Tehran continue exchanging military strikes across the region.
Meanwhile, the escalation has raised concerns about a broader conflict involving US forces and Iranian-backed groups in the Middle East.
