TEHRAN: The supreme military leadership of Iran sent a stern message to the United States and Israel on Friday after threats made by President Donald Trump. Any attack on the Islamic country will result in “massive” and “protracted” retaliation, according to reports.
Unrestricted Retaliation Threatened
According to Major General Ali Abdolahi, head of Khatam Al Anbiya Central Command, any aggression on Iran will lead to retaliation without restraint. Furthermore, he stressed that all facilities serving the United States and Israeli troops will be subjected to “non-stop and destructive attacks.”
According to Abdolahi, “Since the day the imposed war started, we have done what we promised.” The literal translation of the above message means that hell’s doors would open to them. A spokesman at the headquarters confirmed the threat, warning that an expansion of the fighting would result in wars across the whole region. “You should know that if your acts of aggression become bigger, the whole region will be transformed to hell for you,”.
Ongoing Military Operations
The statements are consistent with the retaliatory operation being conducted by Iran called Operation True Promise 4. According to the reports received, during the operation, hundreds of ballistic and hypersonic missiles were fired at American and Israeli targets in the region. Attack drones were also deployed against these positions. The military leadership of Iran stressed that their troops are ready to protect their country. They will take appropriate action in case of escalation.
