The CCTV footage of the six suspected dacoits, who were reportedly killed in a confrontation with the police in Lahore’s Iqbal Town area on Saturday, has been revealed.

As per the footage, the six individuals entered the house in three pairs, with a few minutes’ intervals between each couple.
The video depicts the initial two suspects entering the premises with a bucket, pretending to be painters. Shortly afterward, two more individuals can be seen entering through the gate, followed by the last two walking towards the house.
The homeowner, Dr. Ibad, stated that the suspects, posing as painters, asked the house help to open the gate. Subsequently, the alleged robbers held all family members at gunpoint in the drawing room.
On the incident day, six alleged robbers were reported killed in a fierce exchange of gunfire with the police in Lahore’s Iqbal Town. The individuals had reportedly broken into the house of a doctor in the College Block area, prompting a resident to call the police on the 15 helpline.
The doctor’s daughter, present on the upper floor, was said to have made the call. Upon the arrival of the Crimes Investigation Agency force, the suspects allegedly opened fire, leading to a confrontation that lasted for at least 40 minutes, according to police claims.
Despite the intensity of the situation, all residents of the house remained unharmed. The police asserted that the slain robbers were identified and hailed from Khanewal and Vehari, with one of them having a criminal record. Additionally, the police alleged that the suspects had conducted a reconnaissance before entering Dr. Ibad’s house, posing as laborers.
