The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) has announced its new organisational leadership for Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The party issued official notifications confirming the appointments on Friday. Moreover, the changes take immediate effect following approval from the party leadership.
Former AJK Premier Named Provincial President
According to the official notification, former Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has been appointed as the party’s provincial president. Meanwhile, Nisar Ansar Abdali has been named General Secretary of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
The appointments form part of the party’s efforts to strengthen its organisational structure in the region. Furthermore, both leaders will assume their responsibilities with immediate effect.
Official Notifications Issued by Party Leadership
The official notifications carry the signature of IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan. Consequently, the appointments have become effective immediately after their issuance.
The party has not announced any additional organisational changes alongside the latest appointments. However, the newly appointed office-bearers are expected to oversee party affairs and organisational activities across Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
