Vicky Ford, a minister in the Foreign Office, said that Imran Khan’s future is an issue for Pakistan’s courts as she described relief for the country’s “awful tragedy” of flooding.
Ms. Ford added that “any decision to advance charges” was an “issue for Pakistan’s judicial community” and that the UK was “watching the situation with the former prime minister of Pakistan very closely.”
‘I would really like to see not only that we press through all diplomatic channels for a fair and transparent process regarding the former prime minister of Pakistan, but more importantly that we increase the paltry £1.5 million that we have committed to help Pakistan in terms of aid directly from the UK at a time of such disaster when we have such strong bilateral relations between our countries.” The foreign minister added.
