Colombo: With the Test series against Pakistan set to begin this coming Saturday, the Sri Lankan cricket board released their 18-man selection on Thursday.
This two-match series will take place during the 2021-2023 ICC World Test Championship Cycle.
The Galle International Cricket Stadium will host the first test match on July 16, while the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo will host the second test match on July 24-28.
The Pakistan Test team played a warm-up match despite the ongoing protests calling for the president and prime minister to quit.
Pakistani officials have been in constant touch with their Sri Lankan counterparts, and the planned schedule for the next Test series has not been altered.
