KARACHI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consul General Dr. Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi has announced that there are no visa restrictions for Pakistanis in the Gulf nation.
His clarification came on Monday in response to reports of visa-related issues faced by residents of Sindh province seeking to travel to the UAE.
In a video statement, Dr. Remeithi stated, “All facilities are being provided to Pakistani businessmen, skilled workers, and those traveling for medical treatment in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and other cities.”
The envoy emphasized the strong cultural, religious, and trade ties between the UAE and Pakistan, which have developed over the past 50 years. He affirmed that the UAE offers “100% facilities” for Pakistani nationals to obtain visas.
Dr. Remeithi also announced the launch of a special awareness program at the Karachi Consulate for individuals traveling to the UAE. He advised travelers to avoid carrying prohibited items and to pack their luggage themselves to prevent any difficulties.
Additionally, he revealed that a new program for the business community would be launched soon, aimed at providing comprehensive support for those wishing to travel to the UAE for business or facilitate UAE companies entering Pakistan.
