ISLAMABAD: A motion has been tabled in National Assembly demanding rather questioning to kick the French Ambassador from the country. The opinion of the assembly has bene sought on the issue of French Ambassador’s exit. The resolution also asks to protest on the certain places than blocking roads.
National Assembly session was held under the chairmanship of the Speaker National Assembly Asad Kaiser. PML-N & JUI-F also participated the session. The resolution also demands the intensity of the issue should be conveyed to the entire EU Ambassadors especially the French Ambassador.
The members of PPP did not participate in the meeting. Amjad Ali Khan of Pakistan Tehreek a Insaaf (PTI) presented the resolution in the NA session.
The PPP on Tuesday had announced that it would not participate in today’s National Assembly session.

PPP Information Secretary Dr Nafisa Shah has said the government had postponed the NA session for two days but then “suddenly” called the session. “Some [PPP] parliamentarians are not present in Islamabad. At this time, the decision has been taken that PPP will not take part in the session,” she added.
The PML-N also held a meeting of its parliamentary party in the office of Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif to discuss the prevailing situation in the country as well as the “distressing events” that happened recently, party spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said in a statement.
Shaid Khaqan Abbasi has said in the assembly that his party would review the resolution and then come back with their point of view.
The assembly session also cancelled the agenda of the session prepared earlier.
