In Madhya Pradesh, India, a Muslim girl was subjected to molestation and public beating

ISLAMABAD: Some men molested and beat up a Muslim girl, a physiotherapist by profession, in the middle of a street in Ujjain city, Madhya Pradesh, India, in yet another incident of violence against women.

The harrowing incident occurred on Friday evening when the girl was returning home after duty, sparking massive outrage among locals and government officials from the Muslim community.

According to the report, the police detained two men involved in the attack, but a video shared by Madhya Pradesh Congress on Twitter showed the victim accusing five people of assaulting her. She claims that one of the attackers mentions having influence over the police, and his mother was also involve in the matter.
