According to Indian authorities, at least 112 women were sent to the hospital following a gas leak at a clothing manufacturing plant there on Wednesday.
On Tuesday night, employees at a plant in the Andhra Pradesh state’s Atchyutapuram area complained of nausea and vomiting.
“All of the women are secure. There aren’t any casualties. M. Upendra, a senior police official, told AFP that investigations are ongoing.
The hospitalizations come on the heels of a similar incident in June when a gas leak in the same location knocked out 200 people.
