Global markets plunge as Trump test positive for COVID-19

The American Stock Futures fall negative and Asian markets also fell on Friday (Oct 2) after Donald Trump said he and his wife tested positive for the coronavirus.

Similarly, Dow Jones Futures fall 522 points as Trump announced his test results.

Additionally, S&P lost 60 points and fell to 3307. NASDAQ has lost 240 points and is now at 11338.

Safe-haven assets rallied, with the Japanese yen declined to 105 per US dollar, from 105.60 earlier in the day.
