Because of TV Host and Presenter Iqrar-ul-Hassan’s and his team’s exposé of an IB Inspector’s corruption and the accompanying video proof, Intelligence Bureau (IB) officers beat up the Sar-e-Aam host and his crew.
Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his colleagues were beaten up by IB authorities after they discovered an IB official collecting money during door-to-door NADRA verification in Karachi’s Orangi district, according to the information.
IB Officers kidnapped and tortured the host of Sar-e-Aam, as well as his crew members, who were held prisoner by civilian intelligence personnel.
Immediately after the attack, Iqrarul Hassan was taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he got stitches and first aid medical care. Doctors have declared that the patient’s life-saving analysis has been completed and that he is no longer in danger.
As per ARY News Reports, Director IB Syed Rizwan ordered that Iqrar-ul-Hassan and his colleagues be stripped nude, assaulted, and subjected to electric shocks on the delicate portions of their bodies.
As a result, the Prime Minister’s House has suspended five IB personnel for mistreating the ARY News anchor and crew.
Syed Rizwan, Mehboob Ali, Inam Ali, Rajat Ali, and Khawar have all been suspended, according to a notice.

This is what happens when media thinks itself as The Law and takes law into its hands. This media team has been asking for this for a while and I am surprised that it took such a long time for this to happen. Hopefully will teach them a good lesson.
