Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Islamabad on Monday for a two-day official visit that is expected to reshape cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia. He received a red-carpet welcome at Nur Khan Airbase, where President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed him warmly.
The Indonesian leader is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including senior officials and ministers. His visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation across several strategic sectors.

During his stay, President Subianto will hold comprehensive delegation-level talks with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He will also meet President Zardari and Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir. These engagements are designed to deepen collaboration and enhance long-standing ties.
The discussions will cover trade, investment, defence, health, information technology, climate, education, and cultural exchange. Furthermore, both sides will explore new opportunities to boost cooperation at regional and global levels.
