Accused Karachi School Principal Granted Bail In Harassment Case
Azam, the principal of a private school located in Karachiโs Saudabad area, who had been arrested by the police on Monday on charges of allegedly harassing female students, was granted bail by a local court.
The school principal, facing allegations of harassment, appeared before the court of the Judicial Magistrate East inย Karachi.
The judicial magistrate in Karachi East decided to grant bail to Azam, and this decision was contingent upon him providing a surety bond of Rs30,000.
Itโs important to note that the arrest had occurred following a complaint from a girl on Monday, in which she accused the principal of harassment at the school.
This incident follows a similar one from the previous month, where Karachi police had arrested the principal of another private school in Gulshan-e-Hadeed on charges of allegedly sexually assaulting teachers and other staff members.
