Ignite National Technology Fund has announced that enrolments are now open for the second batch of the DigiSkills 3.0 program, offering 300,000 free seats on a first-come, first-served basis. The initiative, which remains Pakistan’s largest online learning platform, aims to empower youth with digital and freelancing skills critical for the modern economy.
Registration Open for Batch-02 With 16 Course Options
According to Ignite, trainees are urged to enroll early, as no additional seats will be made available once the quota is filled. The registration process is simple, requiring participants to create an account on the DigiSkills website and select up to two courses from the 16 currently available.
Trainees who have previously registered can log in directly to their Learning Management System (LMS) accounts to enroll in new courses under Batch-02. The new session of DigiSkills 3.0 is scheduled to begin in December 2025.
Program management emphasized that enrolment may close before the deadline if the seat limit is reached, citing high demand from previous batches.
Expanding Digital Literacy and Freelancing Opportunities
The DigiSkills 3.0 program, approved by the Ignite Board in April 2025, is an upgraded continuation of Pakistan’s flagship e-learning initiative. The project has a total budget allocation of Rs. 1.79 billion and aims to train three million individuals over the next three and a half years.
Building on the success of DigiSkills 2.0, which offered 15 online courses, the latest version expands to 25 comprehensive courses covering modern digital fields. Newly introduced subjects include UI/UX and Web Flow, 3D Modeling, Cloud Computing, Shopify Development & Drop Shipping, Artificial Intelligence using Python, Mobile Game and App Development, and Full Stack Development with MERN.
Additionally, new courses such as Startup Strategies and Entrepreneurship aim to promote business innovation and self-employment among Pakistan’s youth.
Since its launch in 2018, the DigiSkills program—developed jointly by Ignite and the Virtual University of Pakistan—has trained over four million people across more than 300 cities. Notably, over 800,000 women have completed DigiSkills training, making the initiative a key contributor to women’s empowerment and digital inclusion in the country.
With DigiSkills 3.0, Ignite continues its mission to equip Pakistan’s workforce with future-ready digital skills, supporting economic growth through freelancing, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
