The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled electricity outages across several districts for Wednesday. The shutdowns will facilitate maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, power will remain suspended from 5:00am to 10:00am in Islamabad Circle. The affected feeders include Tramari, Lehtrar, ISI, Chattha and Rehara.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity will remain unavailable on the Ghazan Khan feeder from 5:00am to 10:00am. Meanwhile, the Kambeli Sadiq feeder will experience outages from 6:00am to 10:00am.
Multiple Feeders To Remain Affected
In Attock Circle, IESCO will suspend power supply to the Wah General Hospital feeder from 5:00am to 12:00pm. Consumers in the area should expect temporary service interruptions.
Meanwhile, several feeders in Jhelum Circle will remain without electricity from 6:00am to 10:00am. These include City Housing, Sanghoi, Safdar Shaheed, Nathwala, Langarpur, Saeela, Pakhwal and F-9 (Chak Daulat).
Similarly, power will remain suspended in Chakwal Circle from 6:00am to 10:00am. The affected feeders include Khanpur, Jhand Khan Zada, Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur and CWO.
Maintenance Work Underway
IESCO will also carry out maintenance in the GSO Circle from 9:00am to 4:00pm. The work will cover the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan transmission lines.
Additionally, maintenance will continue from 8:00am to 6:00pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, including related equipment.
IESCO apologised for the temporary inconvenience and said electricity would be restored earlier if maintenance work finishes ahead of schedule.
