Chinese technology giant Huawei is reportedly preparing to introduce a new smartphone sub-brand called Osta, with two premium devices expected to lead its debut.
According to leaks shared by Chinese technology insiders Digital Chat Station and Fixed Focus Digital, the upcoming lineup will feature the Osta O1 and Osta O1 Pro. However, Huawei has not officially confirmed either device.
Huawei Osta O1 and O1 Pro Designs Revealed
The standard Osta O1 is expected to feature a quad-curved display and a large circular rear camera module.
Meanwhile, the Osta O1 Pro could introduce a distinctive wider screen with extremely narrow bezels.
Reports suggest the Pro model will feature a 6.39-inch flat LTPS display with 1.5K resolution and an unusual 16:9.5 aspect ratio.
Its rear design may include a horizontal camera strip.
Osta O1 Pro Could Offer 16GB RAM and 1TB Storage
The Pro model is reportedly being developed in four configurations, starting with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
Higher variants could offer 12GB or 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, while the premium version may feature 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.
An alleged retail packaging image has also surfaced online.
Will Huawei’s New Smartphones Be Affordable?
Earlier reports suggested the brand would target budget-conscious consumers.
However, newer leaks indicate flagship-level specifications and potentially premium pricing.
Huawei has also applied to register the Osta trademark for smartphones and other electronic products.
The company has not announced official prices, launch dates or international availability.
For now, the devices remain unconfirmed, but their rumored designs suggest Huawei could introduce another premium smartphone lineup.
