Yemen’s Houthi rebels reported more than 30 Saudi airstrikes across several regions. Houthi reported this Saudi retaliation a day after launching major attacks against Saudi Arabia.
The Saudi strikes targeted areas in four Yemeni governorates, according to the Houthi-run Almasirah television channel.
“Saudi aircraft launched 32 airstrikes on various areas” across Marib, Al-Jawf, Taiz and Hodeida, the channel reported.
The reported bombardment came after Houthi forces carried out major attacks against Saudi Arabia.
The previous attacks injured dozens of people, further escalating tensions between the two sides.
Saudi authorities have not confirmed the reported number of airstrikes or provided details about the targets.
The latest developments mark another escalation in the conflict, which has repeatedly threatened regional stability and security.
Meanwhile, continued fighting has raised concerns about further military action across Yemen and neighbouring areas.
The reported Saudi strikes followed renewed Houthi attacks, highlighting the growing cycle of retaliation between the two sides.
However, independent verification of the reported strikes and damage remained unavailable.
The situation could develop further as both sides continue military operations and exchange attacks across the region.
