LAHORE: Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan has rejected unverified reports about the launch of a new Honda City in the country, urging customers to rely exclusively on the automakerโs official communication channels for authentic information.
In a statement shared through its official social media account, Honda said it remained committed to transparent and responsible communication. The company asked customers to disregard rumours and avoid circulating unverified claims about a possible new-generation City.
Furthermore, Honda encouraged customers to continue booking the existing model, making clear that it has not officially announced the introduction of a new-generation Honda City in Pakistan.
The companyโs official website also continues to list the existing City for bookings.
Honda Responds to Seventh-Generation City Speculation
The clarification followed a report by a local automotive website suggesting that Honda could unveil the seventh-generation City during the upcoming Pakistan Auto Parts Show 2026.
However, Honda has not confirmed such plans and has advised customers to wait for information through its authorised channels.
The Pakistan Auto Parts Show is scheduled to take place from September 18 to 20, prompting speculation about potential vehicle launches and announcements during the event.
Current Honda City Remains Available for Booking
Meanwhile, the sixth-generation Honda City has remained available in Pakistan since its introduction in 2021.
Despite speculation about a successor, Honda has not provided an official launch date, specifications, pricing or booking details for any new-generation City.
Consequently, reports about an imminent seventh-generation model remain unconfirmed.
Honda has asked prospective buyers and existing customers not to base purchasing decisions on unofficial reports circulating online.
For now, the automaker continues to accept bookings for the current Honda City and says any future product announcement will come through its official communication platforms.
