SHEIKHUPURA: A domestic dispute over electricity usage turned fatal in the outskirts of Ferozwala, Sheikhupura, after a young man shot dead his father and injured other family members. Mother and sister of the shooter sustained critical wounds.
Police said the argument began when the accused asked to switch on the air conditioner. However, his father refused because of rising electricity costs and scolded him.
The suspect became enraged, retrieved a firearm, and opened fire on the family before escaping. The father died at the scene. Meanwhile, rescue teams shifted the injured mother and sister to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Their condition remains critical, according to initial reports.

Police and rescue officials reached the scene soon after receiving the emergency call. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the incident.
